Conyers Supports Hospice

Cayman Islands Hospice Care is one step closer to having a multi-purpose inpatient and operations facility in their new building, thanks to a generous donation by Conyers Dill & Pearman, one of Cayman’s leading law firms.

The $6,000 donation is the latest of several donations that Conyers has made to Cayman Hospice Care over the years, both financial contributions and through employee volunteerism.

Partner Paul Smith reiterated Conyers’ ongoing commitment to the Cayman community and Cayman Hospice Care through the firm’s charitable giving programme: “As a firm, we feel strongly about making contributions that improve the well-being of those in need in our community. Cayman Hospice Care has an outstanding track record of delivering excellent care to people at a crucial time of their lives, whether patients or their loved ones. We want to be able to continue to support organisations that do so much good”, he said.

Danielle Coleman of Cayman Hospice Care was on hand to receive the donation. “Our new multipurpose facility has moved from a dream to becoming a reality thanks to so many generous people. These funds from Conyers takes us one step closer to having the facilities that we need within the new building”, she said.

Plans for the new facility were submitted to the Department of Planning for building approval in March 2016.
