Conyers provided Bermuda law advice to Genesis in connection with a new six-year US$215 million Term Loan. The proceeds raised will be used to refinance existing aircraft and releases the existing warehouse capacity to support future growth. Morgan Stanley & Co., LLC, served as Sole Structuring Agent and Sole Placement Agent on the Term Loan, which closed on 31 August 2023.
The transaction received the “Structured Finance Deal of the Year” at the 2023 Airline Economics’ Americas 100 Awards.
