Bermuda Private Client & Trust: 11 Consecutive Years of Excellence
Conyers continues to set the standard for offshore trust advisory in Bermuda, achieving a Band 1 ranking for the 11th consecutive year. Practice Co-Heads Helen Cooper and Craig MacIntyre each received Band 1 rankings, reflecting their leadership in advising clients on complex trust matters. Directors Ben Adamson and Anna Bruce-Smith are both ranked Band 2, and Scott Pearman is ranked Band 3. Director Davina Hargun and Senior Associate Grace Quinn are newly ranked respectively as Up and Coming and Associate to Watch for their expertise in trusts and estates.
Chambers researchers noted: “Conyers is probably the gold standard when it comes to Bermuda trust law; they appear in all the big cases with the best clients. They have great strength and depth, and they deliver Rolls-Royce service. They are very impressive.”
Cayman Islands & British Virgin Islands: Cross-Border Wealth Planning Leadership
The firm’s Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands practices earned recognition for their strategic approach to international wealth planning and trust structures. Robert Lindley, Head of Cayman & BVI Private Client & Trust, achieved a Band 1 individual ranking, with clients describing him as “someone to go to when the matter might need a bit more thinking outside the box and is not so traditional.” Sally Peedom is ranked Up and Coming in Cayman. Wesley O’Brien is ranked for his Cayman-focused practice, Matthew Brown achieved Band 2 recognition in BVI.
Chambers noted the practice as having “the ability to navigate complex issues. They provide really good client service, and they are practical in terms of how to propose solutions. They know risk tolerance, and that really helps when advising someone in terms of pros and cons and then coming to the best solution.”
