Conyers Celebrates 35 Years in Asia

In 2020, Conyers is celebrating 35 years in Asia, serving the market from its offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. The firm is the oldest offshore law firm in the region and continues to lead the way in providing offshore legal advice to many of Asia’s largest and most innovative corporate clients.

Conyers’ Hong Kong office was opened in Exchange Square in June 1985 and the Singapore office opened in 2001. Over the years, the firm has established itself as Asia’s leading offshore advisor on corporate finance and capital markets and as the market leader for IPOs and Mergers & Acquisitions, having acted in over 75% of major offshore M&A deals for more than 15 years. In 2019, Conyers was voted winner of the “Best Overall Law Firm” (Offshore Firm) by China Business Law Journal, receiving acclaim from clients and law firms alike. The firm’s attorneys have also received recognition for a number of deals they have worked on in the region including, Restructuring Deal of the Year in the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2019,  M&A Deal of the Year  in the Asian Legal Business Law Awards 2019 and two Deals of the Year in China Business Law Journal 2018.
