In the Cayman Islands, Erik Bodden and Robert Lindley have been promoted to Partner. In Hong Kong, Wynne Lau has been promoted to Partner and Anna Lin has been promoted to Counsel.

Bermuda

Francesca Fox – Director
Francesca is head of the Real Estate and Property Development practice in Bermuda. Her practice covers all aspects of commercial and residential real estate including issues arising for non-Bermudian purchasers or lenders. She advises companies, banks and individuals in respect of their acquisition, disposal, leasing, development and financing of real estate.

Alexandra Macdonald – Director
Alexandra’s practice includes all aspects of corporate and commercial law in Bermuda, with a focus on insurance and investment fund law and regulation. She specializes in incorporating and licensing insurers and reinsurers of all kinds, and in the creation and offering of cat bonds. She also has expertise in establishing investment funds of all kinds and has an active general practice.

Jennifer Panchaud – Director
Jennifer’s practice includes all aspects of corporate and commercial law, with particular experience in corporate reorganisations, securitisations and advising on Bermuda law aspects of transactions for both local and exempted companies. She also advises on (re)insurance regulatory and transactional matters.

Cynthia Millett – Counsel
Cynthia’s practice is focused largely on residential real estate transactions and she has extensive experience advising both local and international clients on a wide range of property issues. She acts for individuals and banks in relation to conveyancing, mortgage and lease transactions.

Cayman Islands

Erik Bodden – Partner
Erik’s practice covers all areas of international commercial, insolvency and private client litigation. He frequently appears before the Cayman Grand Court and has acted on large-scale cross-border and multi-party disputes, winding up proceedings, dissenting shareholder appraisal cases and contentious trust matters.

Robert Lindley – Partner
Robert is head of the Cayman and BVI Private Client & Trust practice, covering all aspects of Cayman and BVI trust law advice and trust litigation. He advises trustees, beneficiaries, protectors and other office holders on a variety of contentious and non-contentious trust and private client related matters and has a broad range of experience in estate planning and administration of estate issues for high net worth individuals and families.

Hong Kong

Wynne Lau – Partner
Wynne’s practice covers all aspects of corporate and commercial law with particular focus on corporate finance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations, re-domiciles, banking and syndicated loan transactions. She has extensive experience in private and public equity and debt offerings including debt financing, mortgage backed securities, MTN programmes and IPOs on stock exchanges globally.

Anna Lin – Counsel
Anna’s practice covers commercial dispute and contentious insolvency and she has worked on complex and high value share appraisal proceedings, directors liability disputes, professional negligence claims and winding-up proceedings in various jurisdictions, including Bermuda, Cayman, BVI and Hong Kong. On the non-contentious side, her experience includes solvent liquidations, grant of probate applications, directors’ fiduciary duty and company restructuring advisory matters.
