Conyers provided Bermuda law advice to Avolon Holdings Limited (“Avolon”), the international aircraft leasing company, in connection with a private offering of senior unsecured notes by Avolon Holdings Funding Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Avolon.
The private offering which priced on 9 January 2020 and closed on 14 January 2020, comprised US$1.1 billion of 2.875% senior unsecured notes due 2025 and US$650 million of 3.25% senior unsecured notes due 2027.
Avolon used the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include the future repayment of outstanding secured indebtedness.
