Conyers provided Bermuda law advice to Viking Cruises Ltd in connection with its offering of US$350 million aggregate principal amount of 7.000% Senior Notes due 2029 (the “Unsecured Notes”) and to Viking Ocean Cruises Ship VII Ltd in connection with its offering of US$350 million aggregate principal amount of 5.625% Senior Secured Notes due 2029 (the “Secured Notes”). The two-part unsecured, secured notes offering closed on 2 February 2021.

Viking intends to use the net proceeds from the Secured Notes to pay the remaining contract price of approximately €285 million for the vessel Viking Venus and the net proceeds from the Unsecured Notes for general corporate purposes.
