Conyers advised Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (“PIMCO”) with the formation and launch of Newport Re Ltd., a Bermuda company that is licensed as a class 3B insurer, which shall serve as the insurance vehicle for PIMCO’s property and casualty insurance linked securities business.
PIMCO is a privately owned hedge fund sponsor. It was founded in 1971 and is based in Newport Beach, California.
