Conyers provided Cayman Islands legal advice to HK Electric Investments Limited (“HK Electric”) in connection with the granting of a HK$2 billion revolving credit facility by Mizuho Bank Ltd., Hong Kong Branch to HK Electric.
HK Electric focuses on the power industry and is the sole electricity provider to over 580,000 customers on Hong Kong and Lamma Island. It is the first fixed single investment trust listed In Hong Kong. It is also one of the longest-established utility companies in the world.
