Conyers acted as Cayman Islands counsel to Meten EdtechX Education Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: METX) (“Meten EdtechX”) in connection with its US$46 million underwritten public offering of 46,000,000 of the Company’s ordinary shares on Nasdaq (which includes 6,000,000 ordinary shares issued pursuant to the exercise of the over-allotment option) at the public offering price of US$1.00 per share.
Meten EdtechX is a leading English language training (“ELT”) service provider for students and professionals in the People’s Republic of China. The Company provides its services under three industry-leading brands: Meten (adult and junior ELT services), ABC (primarily junior ELT services) and Likeshuo (online ELT).
