Conyers provided Cayman Islands legal advice to Huazhu Group Limited (“Huazhu Group”) in connection with the secondary listing of shares in the Company on the Main Board of The Hong Kong Stock Exchange Hong Kong Limited. The transaction raised proceeds of US$783 million (before the exercise of the Over-allotment Option).
Huazhu Group is a leading and fast-growing multi-brand hotel group in China with leased and owned, manachised and franchised models. Its American Depositary Shares are listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol “HTHT” on September 15, 2010.
