Conyers advises Third Point Reinsurance Ltd. on US$275 million IPO

Conyers Dill & Pearman provided Bermuda legal advice to Third Point Reinsurance Ltd. on its initial public offering (“IPO”) of US$275,666,075 on the New York Stock Exchange in August 2013. The company sold nearly 22.1 million shares at US$12.50 per share.

The book-running managers for the offering were J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, BofA Merrill Lynch and Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Aon Benfield Securities, Inc., Dowling & Partners Securities LLC, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc. and Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. acted as co-managers for the offering.

Third Point Reinsurance Ltd., through its Class 4 reinsurance company, Third Point Reinsurance Company Ltd., is a Bermuda-based specialty property and casualty reinsurer.
